Driver Killed After Car Rolls Into Drainage Ditch in Arlington

A man was killed early Sunday morning after his vehicle rolled multiple times and landed in a drainage ditch in Arlington.

Around 2:37 a.m. on September 14, Arlington Police, Fire, and EMS were called to the 2600 block of W. Green Oaks Boulevard near Arkansas Lane. When officers arrived, they found a sedan in the ditch and the 36-year-old driver ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Investigators believe the car was traveling northbound on Green Oaks Boulevard when it struck the center median. The impact caused the sedan to roll several times before coming to rest in the ditch.

The crash remains under investigation.
