Proactive Patrol: Dallas Police Arrest Three, Seize Guns and Drugs During Stop

Dallas Police officers on proactive patrol in the early hours of September 6, 2025, conducted a traffic stop in the 13600 block of North Central Service Road that led to multiple arrests and the recovery of narcotics and firearms.

Officers identified two individuals with outstanding warrants and discovered 9.4 grams of fentanyl, 7.4 grams of methamphetamine, and 2 grams of cocaine inside the vehicle. An AR-style pistol and two handguns were also seized.

  • Kendrick Mathis, 46, was charged with two counts of first-degree felony Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (fentanyl and methamphetamine), one count of second-degree felony Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (cocaine), and Unlicensed Carrying of a Weapon with a Felony Conviction, also a second-degree felony.

  • Alexis Berry, 23, was arrested on outside warrants for theft.

  • Angely Flores, 18, was arrested on outside warrants for larceny.

“Proactive policing gets criminals and their guns and drugs off the streets, and keeps Dallas safe,” said Major Pollyanna Ashford, North Central Patrol commander.
