SOUTHLAKE, Texas — Six people were injured Friday evening when a car drove into Duff’s Famous Wings restaurant on East Southlake Boulevard.
The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of the roadway. Three of the injured sustained minor injuries, two suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and one was treated and released at the scene. Three patients were taken to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine, while two were transported to Methodist Southlake Medical Center.
Authorities said preliminary investigations indicate impairment was not a factor, and the driver is cooperating with investigators. The cause of the crash remains under review.
