According to Irving's Chamber of Commerce, Irving's Unemployment Rate dropped again in April, down to 5.9%. Unemployment at this level has not been seen since 2008. This compares favorably to the State of Texas unemployment rate of 6.9% and the national unemployment rate of 8.1%
