Dallas Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that happened Sunday afternoon following a disturbance tied to a vehicle crash in Deep Ellum.
Around 1:40 p.m. on October 26, 2025, officers responded to an assist officer call in the 2900 block of Canton Street. According to the preliminary investigation, an unknown victim was stabbed after a confrontation near South Malcolm X Boulevard and Canton Street.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. One person was detained at the scene but was later released.
Detectives are continuing to investigate and work to identify the suspect.
