Dallas Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Sunday evening in southeast Dallas.
At about 6:00 p.m. on October 26, 2025, officers responded to a shooting call near the intersection of Elam Road and North Jim Miller Road. The preliminary investigation determined that the victim was shot by a known suspect.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Steven Baisy.
The investigation remains ongoing and is documented under case number 154248-2025.
