On October 28, 2025, Dallas Police Office Assistant Nicole Jones turned herself in to the Lancaster Police Department on a Dallas County Sheriff’s Department warrant for Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animals, a Class A misdemeanor.
Jones, who has been with the department since February 2019, is assigned to the Property Recovery Squad. According to officials, she has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs investigation.
