DART to Conduct Station Testing in Downtown Irving, CentrePort, and Medical Market

DART riders should expect loud announcements and test messages as the transit agency conducts platform message board testing at multiple stations over the next few weeks.

Testing will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following schedule:

CentrePort/DFW Airport Station: October 28 – November 15
Downtown Irving/Heritage Crossing Station: October 29 – November 6
Medical Market Station: November 6 – November 17

During this period, trains will operate on their normal schedules, but passengers may hear test messages or alerts while using the platforms.

DART says these tests are essential to ensure the safety and reliability of its system, including trains, vehicles, signals, and crossings. Officials thanked riders for their patience and understanding during the testing process.
