Bedford, TX - Just before 5 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, Bedford Police officers responded to reports of suspects actively breaking into vehicles at an apartment complex.
Officers arrived within three minutes and spotted a suspect vehicle leaving the parking lot. When an officer followed, the driver attempted to flee by traveling south in the northbound lanes of Central Drive before stopping for police.
Inside the vehicle were three adults and one juvenile. All four occupants were charged in connection with the vehicle burglaries, and the driver also faces a charge of driving on the wrong side of the road.
During the investigation, officers discovered alcohol, drug paraphernalia, and vape pens containing THC inside the suspect vehicle.
Police confirmed that a total of eight vehicles had been broken into. The investigation remains ongoing.
