UPDATE: On November 13, 2025, 30-year-old Joshua Schaeffer was arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s North Texas Fugitive Task Force. He is charged with Murder in connection with this case. The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Danielle Hollowell.

Dallas Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that occurred Monday afternoon, November 10, 2025, in the 14400 block of Preston Road in Far North Dallas.
Officers responded to the scene around 12:25 p.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been stabbed. Dallas Fire-Rescue also responded, but the victim died at the scene.
The woman’s identity will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing and is documented under case number 161810-2025.
