UPDATE: On December 2, 2025, the US Marshal Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested 40-year-old Francisco Morales III. Morales was taken to Dallas County Jail and was charged with Murder. His bond was set at $500,000.

Dallas Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Monday night, November 10, 2025, in the 400 block of South Fleming Avenue, near the Dallas Zoo.
Officers responded around 7:35 p.m. and found that 37-year-old David Mireles had been shot near the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported him to a hospital, where he later died.
A suspect has not yet been identified, and the investigation remains ongoing. The case is documented under number 162015-2025.
