Woman Killed, Another Injured in Fort Worth Northside Shooting

FORT WORTH, TX - A Fort Worth woman was killed and another injured in a shooting Thursday evening in the Far Greater Northside Historical area, authorities said.

Northwest Division officers were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. on November 20, 2025, to the 2500 block of NW 24th Street following reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found two adult female victims inside a residence.

One woman, later identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as 40-year-old Elizabeth Ann Juarez, had sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene. The second woman was shot in the lower body and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Homicide detectives are investigating the incident. No suspect is currently in custody, and authorities have not released additional details at this time.
