Fort Worth Police Seek Three Suspects in Armed Robbery Outside Store

Fort Worth police are asking for the public’s help identifying three men involved in an aggravated robbery earlier this month on the city’s north side.

The incident happened on November 11 in the 2400 block of Avondale Haslet Road. According to investigators, the victim was sitting in his vehicle in a store parking lot when a man approached, asked for a ride and then got into the front passenger seat. Once inside, the man pulled out a handgun.

Police say a struggle followed. The gunman grabbed clothing from the backseat and ran toward a waiting vehicle. Two other suspects, who had briefly gone inside the store during the encounter, joined him before all three took off in a black four-door sedan with license plates on the front and rear.

Detectives released the following descriptions:

Suspect 1: Possibly a Black male with his hair in a bun. He wore a black jacket, distressed blue jeans and red shoes. Armed with a handgun.
Suspect 2: Black male wearing a maroon patterned long-sleeve shirt, a blue sling bag, distressed blue jeans and black-and-white shoes. Armed with a handgun.
Suspect 3: White male with dark hair and a beard. He wore a red T-shirt, tan pants and red or maroon shoes.

Police are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle to contact detectives at 817-392-4498.
