Arlington, Texas - Catyrus Latrez Adams, 52, of Arlington, was sentenced to 30 years in prison on December 3, 2025, after a jury found him guilty of indecency with a child by exposure.
Adams, who is a registered sex offender, committed the offense on May 2, 2024, when he exposed himself to a 9-year-old girl inside a retail chain store in Arlington, Texas. The Arlington Police Department was dispatched to the scene and arrested Adams.
The court noted that 17 years prior to the recent conviction, Adams was convicted on the same date for four counts of indecency. In that prior case, he exposed himself to two victims, a 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl.
