Dallas Man Charged with Murder Following Fatal Stabbing on Gaston Avenue

DALLAS, TX – On the morning of December 8, 2025, Dallas Police responded to a stabbing in the 4800 block of Gaston Avenue in Old East Dallas. Responding officers found that a man had been stabbed in the neck. The victim was transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue to a local hospital, where he later died. Identification of the victim will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner.

Police quickly located 33-year-old Cleto Banda nearby. Banda was taken into custody and charged with Murder. The investigation remains ongoing and is documented under case number 175429-2025.
