On the morning of December 11, 2025, Dallas police responded to a shooting in the 4700 block of Berridge Lane, near Forney Road and the Skyline High School area. Officers arrived around 5:37 a.m. and found 36-year-old Daniel Tovar suffering from gunshot wounds.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Tovar to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the incident.
The Dallas Police Department is actively investigating the shooting, which has been logged under case number 176863-2025. Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward to help with the investigation.
