On July 18, the Irving Police Department distributed a media release asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a deceased Hispanic female. As a result of the subsequent media coverage, investigators received information that led to the identification of the female. She has been identified as 20-year-old Alexandra Julia Moreno of Carrollton.
Investigators have been able to determine that Moreno was last seen, by family or friends, on Monday night just prior to going out for the night. When she failed to return home the following morning, family and friends became concerned and started looking for her; however they did not contact the police. After seeing the news coverage and recognizing details about Moreno they contacted the Irving Police.
Investigators are in the initial stages of the investigation, therefore details are very limited. Police still want to talk to the men who dropped Moreno off at the hospital. The men were driving the pictured truck.
