TARRANT COUNTY, Texas - On Friday, December 19, 2025, 25-year-old Emily Hutchins of Arlington pled guilty in Tarrant County to Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution. The court sentenced her to 30 years in prison.
According to the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, Hutchins recruited girls into sex trafficking in 2023. She created their prostitution advertisements, forced them to engage in sexual activity for money, and kept the majority of their earnings. Victims were threatened with homelessness or exposure to friends and family if they did not comply.
Hutchins operated out of a home in the 2600 block of Ridgemoor Ct in West Arlington. She was arrested on August 15, 2023, following an investigation by the Arlington Police Department. Originally charged with two counts of Trafficking of Persons (2nd degree felony), the charges were later upgraded to Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution (1st degree felony). In Texas, Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution (Texas Penal Code § 43.04) is a serious felony for running a prostitution enterprise with two or more prostitutes.
The case was prosecuted by ADA Danielle Bonanno, with the DA investigation led by Raul Rodriguez and victim support provided by Cece Jones.
