Dallas Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Far North Dallas.
Officers were dispatched around 5:57 a.m. on December 28, 2025, to the 14000 block of Peyton Drive near W. Spring Valley Road. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Police located the suspect, identified as Alberto Palacios, and transported him to Jack Evans Police Headquarters. No charges have been filed at this time. The case is under investigation and will be referred to the Dallas County Grand Jury.
