FORT WORTH, TX - On Monday, December 22, 2025, Fort Worth Police responded to a shooting at a private residence in the 7400 block of Snow Ridge Drive in Far Southwest Fort Worth.
Officers arriving on scene found a male victim who had been shot in the upper torso. He was transported to a nearby hospital but died while en route.
The victim has been identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as 15-year-old Ricardo Acevedo.
The suspect is not in custody, and homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident. Authorities have indicated that this appears to be an isolated incident with no known threat to the community.
