CORSICANA, TX - Four people are in custody following a violent home invasion early Thursday morning that left multiple victims assaulted and led to the recovery of several firearms, according to the Corsicana Police Department.
At approximately 2:20 a.m. on January 1, 2026, officers responded to the 400 block of South 20th Street after receiving a report of a home invasion that had just occurred. Witnesses provided a detailed description of the suspect vehicle, allowing officers to locate and stop it within minutes of the call.
Investigators determined that the suspects forced entry into the residence and assaulted the occupants, striking them with their fists and firearms before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Officers quickly conducted a traffic stop, detained all four occupants, and recovered multiple firearms from inside the vehicle.
All four suspects were arrested and charged with the first-degree felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Assault or Other Felony. They were transported to the Navarro County Jail, where they are awaiting arraignment. The four suspects were identified as 24-year-old Julian Anthony Camacho, 25-year-old Jonathan Camacho, 35-year-old Jose Garardo Guerrero and 17-year-old Gavyn Nathaniel Ramirez. Each one had a bond set at $175,000.
Police believe the incident was a targeted attack related to a prior encounter and not a random act of violence. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are expected.
Corsicana Police Chief Robert J. Johnson praised officers for their quick response and thorough investigation, noting that their actions led to the swift arrests and the removal of multiple firearms from the community.
