ICE Agents Assist in Arrests of Three Suspects Charged in Collin County Homicide

ICE Agents and Collin County Deputies

COLLIN COUNTY, Texas - More than six months after a deadly shooting south of Princeton, the Collin County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three people in connection with the killing of a 43-year-old man.

Sheriff’s Office officials announced that arrest warrants were executed on January 8, 2026, following an extensive investigation into a homicide that occurred July 9, 2025, in the 9100 block of Fig Circle. Deputies originally responded to the scene around 8:16 p.m. and found Ociel Bautista Perez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Perez was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

After months of investigative work by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, detectives identified three suspects and obtained warrants charging them with Capital Murder with Remuneration, a charge that alleges a killing carried out for payment or promise of payment.

Those arrested are:

  • Jerson Dagoberto Fuentes-Dubon, 29, of Dallas

  • Mauricio Coto-Ramirez, 37, of Dallas

  • Patricia Guadalupe Flores-Bermudez, 49, of McKinney

All three were booked into the Collin County Detention Facility. Fuentes-Dubon and Coto Ramirez also have active immigration detainers, according to authorities.

The arrests were carried out with assistance from multiple state and federal agencies, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Department of Homeland Security, Texas Rangers, the Texas Department of Public Safety, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Dallas Police Department.

U.S. Border Czar Tom Homan commented on the operation, saying the coordinated effort between federal and local law enforcement removed serious public safety threats from the community. He emphasized continued cooperation between agencies as part of broader enforcement efforts.

The Collin County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active and that no additional details are being released at this time.
