Mayor Beth VanDuyne, DART President Gary C. Thomas, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, U.S. Rep. Kenny Marchant, State Rep. Linda Harper-Brown and several other transportation representatives gathered for the DART Orange Line Dedication Luncheon at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas (ICCLC) on July 27. The luncheon was part of the celebration for the opening of the first section of DART’s Orange Line in Irving. The three new stations serve the University of Dallas, Las Colinas Urban Center and ICCLC. The Orange Line officially opened on July 30, providing DART rail riders with access to Irving, as well as connecting Irving residents to the entire DART Rail System.
