Tarrant County Juvenile Probation Officer Arrested on Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Alexandria Venable

FORT WORTH, Texas - A former Tarrant County juvenile probation officer was arrested Monday, January 12th, after authorities accused her of engaging in an illegal sexual relationship with a juvenile who had previously been in custody at the facility where she worked.

34-year-old Alexandria Venable is charged in connection with an alleged sexual relationship involving a 16-year-old boy, according to arrest documents. Investigators say Venable engaged in sexually explicit phone conversations with the juvenile and had sexual contact with him on multiple occasions.

Venable had been employed as a probation officer with the Tarrant County Juvenile Probation Department, assigned to Juvenile Services Intake Unit 2. The alleged misconduct occurred at the probation center, officials said. She is no longer employed with the department and was terminated following the allegations.

According to online employment records, Venable was hired by Tarrant County in February 2023. An arrest warrant was issued, and she later turned herself in to authorities without incident.

The case remains under investigation.
