The Irving Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 5015 Courside Drive sunday afternoon. The call was made at 5:36 pm and the first arriving emergency personnel were on-scene at 5:24 pm with a total of three alarms responding.
The fire was under control by 7:05 pm, but it took a total of 14 companies and apparatus to accomplish it. A total of 50 firefighters and 4 Chief Officer were utilized in bringing the emergency under control.
There was one injury that was transported to the hospital.
The fire is under investigation and damages are not known at this time.
