WHITE SETTLEMENT, TX — The White Settlement Police Department has announced multiple arrests in the January 30, 2026, home invasion homicide of 33-year-old Savanna Parker, who was fatally shot in the 600 block of Meadow Park Drive.
Police say Parker died from multiple gunshot wounds after confronting suspects inside her home during a burglary.
Investigators credit major breakthroughs to the use of license plate reader technology and video evidence gathered from private doorbell cameras, public surveillance systems, and citizen-submitted footage. Working alongside the Fort Worth Police Department Real-Time Crime Center, detectives analyzed an extensive network of cameras across North Texas to track the suspect vehicle and identify those involved.
What Investigators Determined
Authorities say three individuals arrived in a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Marissa Nicole Ocon. The vehicle was parked on Whitney Drive, west of the residence.
Two male suspects exited the vehicle and approached the home. One allegedly forced entry through a south-side door and began ransacking the residence while the other remained outside in the yard. Both were described as wearing hooded sweatshirts, gloves, and face coverings.
Police say Parker confronted the suspects and began recording video on her cellphone. As one suspect exited the home, he allegedly turned and fired a handgun multiple times, striking Parker. She later died at a hospital.
The suspects then fled back to the waiting vehicle and left the city.
Arrests and Charges
On February 6, 2026, Ocon was arrested in South Fort Worth following undercover surveillance and a coordinated traffic stop with state troopers. She has been charged with Capital Murder and remains in the Tarrant County Jail.
That same day, the Texas Department of Public Safety Special Response Team assisted in executing a search warrant at a residence on Horned Maple Trail in South Fort Worth. Investigators say significant evidence was recovered.
On February 7th, 31-year-old Maribel Apodaca-Guzman was arrested and charged with Hinder Apprehension or Prosecution. She remains in custody.
The vehicle used in the crime was located in Dallas on February 7th and transported to White Settlement for processing.
On February 9th, 17-year-old Julian Xavier Ramirez was arrested at a Lake Worth ISD school facility by White Settlement officers and Texas Rangers. He has also been charged with Capital Murder.
Investigators identified another juvenile as the alleged shooter. Due to Texas law protecting juvenile information, authorities cannot release identifying details. A delinquent conduct capital murder warrant has been obtained. Officials believe the juvenile has fled to Mexico.
Law enforcement agencies assisting in the ongoing effort to locate the suspect include the FBI, U.S. Marshals, Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, El Paso Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers, and the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.
Statement from Police Chief
Chief Christopher Cook praised the extensive collaboration involved in the case.
“I am extremely proud of the level of teamwork, collaboration, and partnership that occurred with our local, state, and federal partners during this case,” Cook said. He also recognized the work of Texas Ranger Travis Dendy and White Settlement investigators for their “relentless pursuit of the facts to bring closure to our community and the victim’s family.”
The investigation remains active as authorities work to apprehend the outstanding juvenile suspect.
