LITTLE ELM, TX — A 30-year-old Frisco man is back in custody as a criminal investigation involving a local charter school campus intensifies. Eric Mitchell Moore turned himself in to the Little Elm Police Department on Thursday, February 19, 2026, to face a series of new felony charges.
The investigation is being conducted in close cooperation with North Texas Collegiate Academy’s East Campus.
New Warrants and Indictment
Moore was originally arrested on January 29, 2024, but had been out on bond since February 12. However, continued detective work and additional interviews led to a major escalation in the case this week:
-
Additional Charges: Detectives secured three new arrest warrants for Moore, each charging him with Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.
-
Grand Jury Action: On the same day he turned himself in, a Denton County Grand Jury returned a formal indictment based on the initial January arrest. Moore is now indicted on:
-
One count of Indecency with a Child
-
Four counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child
-
Voluntary Surrender
Accompanied by his legal counsel, Moore surrendered to Little Elm detectives at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The department confirmed he was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Denton County Jail.
Ongoing Investigation and Support
The Little Elm Police Department emphasized that this remains a very active investigation. Detectives are working alongside school officials and partner agencies to provide support for affected children and their families.
"Detectives continue working closely with school officials and partner agencies to ensure all information is thoroughly investigated and that affected children and their families are connected with appropriate resources," the department stated.
