A 15-year-old has been charged with manslaughter following a deadly shooting Wednesday afternoon in Pleasant Grove.
On February 18, 2026, at about 12:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3400 block of Pruitt Avenue.
Preliminary investigation determined that a 17-year-old male had been shot by a 15-year-old juvenile male. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, where the 17-year-old victim was pronounced deceased.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as 17-year-old Miguel Angel Morales.
The 15-year-old suspect was taken into custody and charged with manslaughter. Due to his age, his name will not be released.
The investigation remains ongoing under case number 023386-2026.
