Frisco ISD Teacher Arrested on Injury to a Child Charge

Frisco, TX — A Frisco ISD elementary school teacher has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of a physical assault involving a student.

According to the Frisco Police Department, 54-year-old Patricia Kemper, a teacher at McSpedden Elementary School, was taken into custody after police investigated the reported incident.

Authorities said Frisco ISD notified police about the allegations, prompting the department to immediately open a criminal investigation in coordination with the school district.

Following the investigation, Kemper was charged with Injury to a Child, a third-degree felony punishable by two to ten years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.

After the charge was filed, Kemper turned herself in to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week, according to police.
