FORT WORTH, Texas, March 8, 2026 — Fort Worth police are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit and run that left a pedestrian seriously injured.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the incident occurred around 5:42 a.m. Sunday when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area of 4100 East Lancaster Avenue.
Investigators said the driver fled the scene after the crash, leaving the victim with serious bodily injuries.
Police are searching for a red 2001 to 2003 Chevrolet Silverado believed to have been involved in the incident. Authorities said the truck likely has front end damage and was last seen near the area where the crash occurred.
