Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on I-30 in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas - A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a hit-and-run crash Thursday night on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth.

On March 19, 2026, at approximately 9:21 p.m., Fort Worth Fire/EMS and police responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on westbound I-30 near Camp Bowie Boulevard.

When first responders arrived, they found the motorcyclist down in the roadway with life-threatening injuries. Several bystanders had already begun performing CPR before crews arrived.

Paramedics transported the rider to a trauma center in critical condition.

Police said the driver involved fled the scene immediately after the crash. Officers later located the suspect vehicle, but the driver was no longer at the scene.

A witness said the vehicle was speeding westbound on I-30 before striking the motorcycle. After the collision, the driver reportedly turned around, drove eastbound against traffic, and exited via an on-ramp before fleeing.

Several motorists stopped to help the injured rider while waiting for emergency crews.

The crash remains under investigation.
