DALLAS, Texas - Dallas police are investigating a fatal shooting Tuesday morning that left one person dead along Great Trinity Forest Way.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded at approximately 6:20 a.m. on July 21 to the 7200 block of Great Trinity Forest Way after receiving reports of an active disturbance involving a shooter on foot.
The preliminary investigation determined that an unidentified victim was shot by two unknown suspects at the location.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
Police have not released the victim's identity pending notification of next of kin.
No arrests have been announced, and investigators are working to identify the suspects.
The homicide is being investigated under Dallas Police case number 106447-2026.
