PLANO, Texas — Plano police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver who fled the scene of a crash involving multiple vehicles Monday morning.
Officers responded around 8:10 a.m. on March 30, 2026, to the intersection of West Spring Creek Parkway and Round Rock Trail.
According to investigators, an unknown gray Toyota SUV—possibly a 4Runner—was traveling westbound on Spring Creek Parkway and turned left onto Round Rock Trail, failing to yield to an eastbound gray Genesis that had a green light.
To avoid a collision, the Genesis driver swerved right and struck a black Tesla Model 3 that was stopped at a red light on northbound Round Rock Trail.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage, and airbags deployed in each. Authorities said no serious injuries were reported.
The Toyota SUV left the scene before officers arrived. Both the driver involved and a witness described the suspect vehicle as a gray Toyota SUV.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or may have dash camera footage to contact the Plano Police Tip Line at 972-941-5483.
Officials say any information could help identify the driver and move the investigation forward.
