IRVING, Texas — The highly anticipated H-E-B store in Irving is getting closer to opening, and hiring is now underway as the company prepares to staff the new location.
While an official opening date has not yet been announced, H-E-B is actively recruiting employees for the store and will host a hiring fair for a wide range of positions.
The company is seeking both full-time and part-time employees across multiple departments, including bakery, deli, produce, seafood, market, and its True Texas BBQ restaurant.
The hiring event is scheduled for:
- Wednesday, April 15
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- H-E-B Staffing Office, 8101 Ridgepoint Dr., Suite 200, Irving
Applicants are required to apply online before attending the job fair. Open positions and applications are available at the H-E-B careers website. Interested candidates can also text “JOB817” to 81931 to view available roles specific to the Irving store.
H-E-B says employees, known as “Partners,” receive a range of benefits, including annual pay reviews, a partner stock plan, a 401(k) with a 4% company match, paid time off, health, vision, and dental coverage, and a 10% discount on H-E-B products.
The new store will be located at Interstate 635 and Olympus Boulevard, in front of the former Fry’s Electronics site.
An opening date is expected to be announced soon.
