FORT WORTH, Texas — Three people were shot Wednesday evening after an argument escalated into violence in a Far North Fort Worth neighborhood (near Keller), according to police.
Officers responded around 8:00 p.m. on April 8, 2026, to the 5100 block of Persimmon Court in the North Division after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found three adult victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Fort Worth Fire Department personnel responded to assist at the scene, and the victims were transported for medical treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
Preliminary information indicates a male and female were engaged in a verbal argument outside near a parked vehicle in a cul-de-sac. Nearby residents approached after hearing the disturbance. At some point, it became a physical altercation involving all parties.
Police say during the confrontation, the female involved in the initial dispute produced a handgun and fired, striking three people. Two of the victims were adult males, and the third victim was the adult male boyfriend of the female suspect, the same man involved in the original verbal dispute.
Detectives with the Fort Worth Police Department’s Gun Violence Unit are continuing to investigate to determine the full sequence of events.
Authorities believe this was an isolated incident and are asking anyone with information to contact the Fort Worth Police Department.
