FORT WORTH, Texas — A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday night on Interstate 35W, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
Police and Fire/EMS responded around 10:38 p.m. on April 12, 2026, to a major accident in the southbound lanes of I-35W near Interstate 20.
When officers arrived, they found a crash involving six vehicles.
Authorities said multiple individuals were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. A female motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Southbound traffic on I-35W was diverted onto Interstate 20 while the department’s Traffic Investigations Unit processed the scene.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released and will be provided by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing.
