DALLAS, Texas — An 18-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in the parking lot of an event center in Pleasant Grove, according to Dallas police.
Officers responded around 2:30 a.m. on April 12, 2026, to a shooting call at the Magnolia Event Center in the 1900 block of South Buckner Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as 18-year-old Luis Raul Sanchez.
Police said event center staff have turned over surveillance video to investigators, but no suspect has been identified at this time.
The case remains under investigation and is documented under case number 051944-2026.
