COPPELL, Texas — Coppell Independent School District has named Randy Fite as its new Chief Operations Officer, with his appointment set to take effect in May 2026.
Fite brings more than 25 years of experience in construction, facilities management, and capital program leadership. He currently serves as Executive Director of Construction for Lewisville ISD, where he oversees bond-funded projects and long-term facilities planning.
District officials said Fite has directed more than $2 billion in construction projects during his career and has led multiple large-scale bond programs, including recent initiatives totaling more than $1.8 billion.
Before joining Lewisville ISD, Fite served as Senior Director of Facilities Maintenance at the University of North Texas, where he managed operations across a 170-building campus. He has also held leadership roles in school district construction and facilities departments.
Superintendent Dr. Leanne Shivers said Fite’s experience will be valuable as the district continues to manage growth and maintain its facilities.
“Randy brings exceptional experience in operational leadership, facilities planning and bond program management,” Shivers said. “His proven ability to align strategy, resources and community priorities will be instrumental as we continue to support high-quality learning environments for our students and staff.”
Fite said he is looking forward to joining the district and working with staff and community partners.

Fite holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University and is a registered architect in Texas.
In his new role, he will oversee district operations, including facilities, construction, maintenance, transportation, and other support services.
