DALLAS — Police are investigating a fatal shooting early Friday in The Cedars area that left one person dead.
Dallas police responded around 2:19 a.m. April 17, 2026, to a shooting call in the 1800 block of Park Row Avenue.
According to preliminary information, officers determined the victim had been shot by an unknown suspect. The victim was transported to a hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, where the person was pronounced dead.
Police said the victim was a man who presented as female. The Dallas County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 21-year-old Paul Harris.
No suspect information has been released.
The investigation remains ongoing under case number 054325-2026.
