DALLAS, Texas — A woman was arrested at Dallas Love Field after officers discovered dozens of pounds of marijuana inside multiple suitcases, according to the Dallas Police Department.
The incident occurred April 30 when an airline partner alerted officers that a suitcase arriving on a flight from Las Vegas had broken open, revealing a large amount of marijuana.
Narcotics detectives responded and located two additional suitcases containing marijuana packaged in vacuum-sealed pouches. Authorities said the total weight of the drugs was approximately 75 pounds.
Investigators identified the passenger as 25-year-old Jennifer Manzanares-Herrera and took her into custody before she could leave the airport.
She has been charged with possession of marijuana between 50 and 2,000 pounds, a second-degree felony. Her bond was set at $25,000.
The case remains under investigation under case number 061620-2026.
