DALLAS, Texas — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning near the Bishop Arts District, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Officers responded around 1:20 a.m. May 6 to a shooting call in the 300 block of East 8th Street.
Preliminary information indicates an unidentified individual had been shot by an unknown suspect who fled the scene before officers arrived.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead a short time later.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity, and no suspect information is currently available.
