DALLAS, Texas - The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two persons of interest seen leaving the scene of a shooting in Deep Ellum earlier this month.

Police said officers responded around 10:23 p.m. on May 5 to a shooting call in the 2900 block of Commerce Street. Investigators determined that five people were shot by an unknown suspect who fled the area before officers arrived.
According to police, three of the victims were transported to a hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, while two others arrived at hospitals by private vehicle. All five victims were reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators released video showing the two persons of interest leaving the scene and are asking anyone who recognizes them or has information about the shooting to come forward.
The investigation remains ongoing under case number 064315-2026.
