LEWISVILLE, Texas - Officers with the Lewisville Police Department arrested two suspects Wednesday night following reports of individuals allegedly waving firearms at an apartment complex.
Police said officers responded May 27 to reports that two males were displaying and pointing guns at other people at the complex.
Authorities said officers quickly arrived and located both suspects without incident.
During a probable cause search of the vehicle, investigators recovered four firearms, including one weapon reported stolen from the Collin County Sheriff's Office.
Police identified the suspects as 18-year-old Marques Lee Cooley and 17-year-old Jamarion Deanthony Marquis Lawson.
Cooley was charged with disorderly conduct involving the discharge of a firearm and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information involving between 10 and 50 items.
Lawson was charged with disorderly conduct involving the discharge of a firearm and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Later that same night, officers also responded to a vehicle fire in Lewisville.
Officials said no one was inside the vehicle at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
The Lewisville Fire Department assisted police and quickly extinguished the blaze.
