FORT WORTH, Texas — American Airlines is spotlighting efforts to improve security and reduce wait times for travelers at DFW International Airport through a new episode of its Forever Forward℠ at DFW video series.
The episode features American Airlines Chief Security Officer Gary Tomasulo and Jay Ahern discussing how partnerships between the airline and federal agencies are helping modernize the passenger experience at one of the world's busiest international airports.
According to American, several programs are helping make international travel more efficient while maintaining security standards. These include Enhanced Passenger Processing (EPP), One Stop Security, International Remote Baggage Screening, Mobile Passport Control, and TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID.
The initiatives are designed to reduce wait times, limit passenger touchpoints, and increase the use of biometric and touchless technologies, allowing travelers to move through the airport more quickly and efficiently.
The Forever Forward℠ at DFW series provides a behind-the-scenes look at the airline's multiyear modernization efforts at DFW Airport, which serves as American's largest hub and busiest operation.
American said it is investing billions of dollars to upgrade facilities and infrastructure at DFW, with goals that include improving passenger connections, increasing operational reliability, enhancing resilience during severe weather, and providing a smoother travel experience for customers and employees.
