Dallas Man Charged With Murder Following Fatal Shooting Along CF Hawn Service Road

DALLAS, Texas - A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder following a fatal shooting Tuesday afternoon in southeastern Dallas.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded at approximately 12:46 p.m. on June 2 to a shooting call in the 13600 block of the eastbound C.F. Hawn Service Road (Hwy 175).

Preliminary information indicates that 42-year-old Domnique Wrice was shot during the incident.

Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Wrice dead.

Investigators identified 22-year-old Jordan Brown as the suspected shooter.

Following the shooting, Brown was located in Fate, Texas, where he was detained by authorities. He was later transported to Dallas Police Headquarters for questioning.

Brown has since been charged with Murder and booked into the Dallas County Jail.

Police have not released additional details regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting or a possible motive.

The investigation remains ongoing and is documented under Dallas Police case number 079358-2026.
