Residents are invited to ask questions of Mayor Beth Van Duyne and other City Council members during an open forum at the Irving’s upcoming interactive Resident Town Hall Meetings set for 6:30 p.m. October 30 at Heritage Senior Center, 200 S. Jefferson St., and at 6:30 p.m. November 12 at Ranchview High School, 8401 Valley Ranch Parkway East. At the meetings, Irving City Council will field resident questions on public safety, code enforcement, corridor enhancements, capital improvement projects, communications and economic development initiatives.
This is the second year that the City of Irving has made it possible for residents to participate in the Town Hall Meetings by telephone. Using the toll-free number, (855) 269-4484, residents may listen to the meeting, ask questions and get responses from municipal leaders in real time. Active registered voters with land line or cellphone numbers available via public record also may receive a call from the city inviting them to participate in the meeting via telephone.
