DALLAS, Texas. - Two juveniles have been charged with capital murder following a shooting that left two people dead Wednesday night in the Cedar Crest neighborhood, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 9:26 p.m. on July 8 to the 3400 block of Michigan Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, but both victims were pronounced dead.
During the investigation, police located and arrested two suspects, identified only as a 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old male because they are juveniles.
Both have been charged with capital murder and were transferred to the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released. The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office will determine and release their identities.
The investigation remains ongoing under case number 099501-2026.
