Driver distractions is one of the leading causes of motor vehicle accidents. Of the fastest growing and most problematic of driver dristractions is text message.
In a recent study involvin a driving simulator, teens using text-messaging devices and MP3 players made alarming changes in speed, weaved between lanes and ran over virtual pedestrians. Today's average teen sends 2,899 texts per month according to a recently published Nielsen study.
