On Tuesday, March 17, Irving ISD officials were contacted by the Irving Police Department regarding an allegation of an inappropriate relationship between a female teacher at MacArthur High School and a male student. The teacher was arrested by the Irving Police Department on March 19, and placed on administrative leave from Irving ISD. The teacher has remained on leave while the police continued its investigation, which led to another allegation.
Today, Monday, April 13, the Irving Police Department informed district officials that the same teacher was arrested this morning for an allegation of an improper relationship with another student.
While privacy laws prevent us from sharing specific details, we can reassure our families that we took immediate and appropriate action. Being on administrative leave prevents her from working with students and being present on any Irving ISD property.
