Irving detectives have identified 50-year-old Mack Leonard Kincer as the suspect in a murder investigation and issued a warrant for his arrest.
Kincer was wanted in the murder of 58-year-old Susan Bufford Maleskey of Jacksonville, Texas. On Thursday, January 11, 2018, Irving officers responded to the 3200 block Lark Lane. At 7 pm where responding to a home on a report of a woman who had apparently been shot and killed. A family member had returned home and discovered the crime.
On Friday, January 12, Kincer was found dead in Monahans, Texas from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Kincer was a tenant at the home on Lark Lane in Irving where the homicide occurred. The victim owned the home.
The motive for the shooting is still uncertain but detectives believe Kincer was facing eviction due to delinquent rent payments. The investigation continues; however, no other suspects are being sought in connection with this case.
